My Story

I am a seasoned Clinical Social Worker who has spent 30 years working in a variety of contexts, serving a wide range of populations with dedication and passion.

I grew up in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, where I spent hours exploring the city on foot and by train, subway, bus, and bicycle. I graduated from Central High School, Oberlin College with a B.A. in English, and Simmons University with a Master of Social Work. I’ve lived in Massachusetts and Wisconsin, and am thrilled to have recently returned to my roots in Philly. I have two young adult sons who have taught me just about everything I know. I am a chocoholic and will always have chocolate with me if you need it. I love walking my dog at dawn, hiking, canoeing, reading fiction, doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, knitting, and gardening.
